The Southern Comfort Conference has built a reputation as a safe place for LGBT people with a familial atmosphere, and aims at inclusiveness. It attracts people from all over the United States, offering the opportunity for social and other interaction.From the conference's founding in 1991 until 2014, the conference was held in Atlanta, GA. At the conclusion of the 2014 Southern Comfort Conference, the board of directors announced that SCC would move to Ft Lauderdale Florida where the conference can continue the education and community it started with while adding an element of vacation to the conference. Fantasia Fair is a week-long transgender event held every October in the LGBT resort town of Provincetown, Massachusetts. Part conference, part social gathering, the Fair is a “full immersion” experience, meaning that attendees can and usually do spend an entire week 24/7 presenting their gender as they wish.
The parade steps off at 12:00pm and begains at the corner of Forest Ave. and Elmwood Ave. and ends at the corner of Elmwood Avenue and Allen Street.
Parade registration is free and open to the public.
The Pride Parade is a time when our LGBTQ community marches together in celebration of our history,culture, and achievements.You will enjoy the vibrant floats, see entertaining performances and spend time with thousands of your closets friends to say "Hooray!" for our community.
Over 100 orginizations participate in the parade.This is some good gay fun for the family. You definitely don't wan't to miss it.

7:00 pm – 8:30 pm: Dinner at the Royal Canadian Legion, Gananoque. The Legion Ladies Auxillary has welcomed us back each year with a great meal and then join us for the dance.
8:30 pm – 11:00 pm: Dance to “The Reasons”. This band makes a point of coming to our event. The dance floor just hops. Great fun.

Amanda is the mother of a Trans child and the wife of a Trans Spouse. She is also an incredibly positive advocate for the Trans Community. She has an amazing story to tell. 12:00 noon - 1:30 pm: Spring Time Lunch
1:30 pm - 2:30 pm: Picnic in the Park and Best Legs Contest. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy some time in the sun or under the cedar trees. Then the Best Legs Contest. 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm: Makeovers. Once again the girls from Shoppers Drug Mart will make us look beautiful. Have your foundation done then on to makeup. Ask questions and learn as you go. Gotta look great for the Gala evening.
2:30 pm - 6:30 pm: Social time at the Ramada Inn.
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm: Margaret Link Photo Sessions. Get a professional picture by Margaret while you are looking your absolute best.
6:30 pm - 7:30 pm: Gala Cocktails. Show off that new tuxedo, gown, shoes, jewellery and makeup. Don't hold back. This is your chance to go all out.
7:30 pm - 9:00 pm: Gala Dinner. We have a great meal planned for you. Come and enjoy.
9:00 pm - 9:30 pm: Sears Fashion Show. Great styles from Sears. They will fit our models with all kinds of complimentary outfits. It is a great experience for the models. Want to be a model? Let me know when you register.

The Buffalo Brunch honors individuals, groups, organizations, and businesses that help celebrate and embrace the LGBT community within the greater Western New York community.
It is held at Salvatores Italian Gardens, 6461 Transit Road Depew NY from noon until 3:00pm.
Proceeds from this event are dispersed through EmbraceWNY in the form of community grants and sponsorships as well as educational sponserships for local post secondary students recieving an education locally.
